When I started this blog, it was meant to be nothing more than a place for me to showcase craft projects and the like. I suppose that never happened, since I've never posted a craft project. Then, I had the vision of blogging away, sharing my own social commentary and rants as needed. I suppose, that's happened in part, but I've let my personal life and problems get in the way.
From here on out, I'm going to stop posting personal issues and woes, except on Sundays. I'm taking the idea from Dave at Blogography. I know that some people only know what I'm up to by following my blog, so I figure weekly updates is the least I can do.
I'd like to keep the rest of my posts as my observations on well...society. Believe me, I've got a few rants up my sleeve.
Also, I'm going to admit a deep dark secret. I secretly hold a fictional TV character as my role model as of late. Carrie Bradshaw. Not because she prances around NYC in stilettos having sex "just like men" etc. But because she gets to be a smart, witty journalist asking questions that frankly, need to be examined. There. Shoot me. Ha.
So I guess that's it. No more weepy blogs about my boyfriend, or anything like that. I get the feeling that people don't really want to hear it, and I find that its improper to air one's dirty laundry on the internet.

I've seen your blogs and I'd like to say that I don't think that they are "weepy" or should be considered "dirty laundry". I know that this may sound like something from a more, er, experienced person but I think that you have your whole life ahead of you. You should go out into the world and travel before you consider settling down! I know that it may sound like I'm preaching but it's true what they say, you only get to be young once! If you don't take advantage of the time that you have now then you could regret it for the rest of your life!
i don't understand the comment by terry because i don't think you're settling right now, lol. you're still in college, am with someone you've been with for a long time, and you've been trying new things (aka iowa) so i don't really know about the whole "settling" thing they're tlaking about. buuuuut no matter what your updates are about i'm going to continue to check out this blog religiously, and you know that. because we talk, and i tell you "oh yeah, i saw that on your blog" or something along those lines.
Glad to hear the news. This doesn't have anything to do with anything, but do you know which Milwaukee SBUX stores have the Mastrena? I saw it in Whitefish Bay yesterday. I'm dying to try the espresso, but don't feel like going back up there just for that. Thanks!
